KYLE LAU is a WGA Award-nominated writer/producer/director, originally from the San Francisco Bay Area. His writer-producer credits include Hulu’s DELI BOYS, HBO Max’s CLONE HIGH, Comedy Central’s AWKWAFINA IS NORA FROM QUEENS, and an upcoming Netflix animated series from the BIG MOUTH creators entitled, MATING SEASON.

Previously, this proud UCLA alum and Film Independent Fellow worked as a staff writer on ABC’s FRESH OFF THE BOAT, and as a writers’ assistant on DEAD TO ME (Netflix) and FAMILY GUY (FOX). On the directing front, Kyle’s latest short film, WHITE NOW PLEASE, was selected for over 20 festivals, winning awards for “Best Director,” “Best Comedy,” “Outstanding Screenplay,” and multiple “Audience Awards.” He has also directed content for RedBull, Jack Daniels, and Bleacher Report.
